Metropolitan Electric Co., Inc. is a second generation electrical company. Founded in 1955 as Nathan Nidetch Electrical Contractor, we are in our 65th year of business. In 2018, Metropolitan Electric Co., Inc. became NYC SBS Certified as a WBE corporation. Bruce and Melissa Nidetch (Principals) and Scott Milet hold electrical licenses in New York City, the State of New Jersey and Nassau County. We are a mid-sized non-union shop with long term, professional employees. With a wide range of experience, attention to detail and reliability at all times, Metropolitan Electric offers excellent service to our customers. We're there from the design stage to the last flip of the switch.
